Magic Bus head office is in Mumbai, where the organisation was founded back in 1999. We are registered as a non-profit company Childlink India Foundation. We  are also registered as a UK charity and have an office in London. In 2008 we launched offices in Medak, Chandrapur and Delhi.

Magic Bus is a people-focused organisation, which believes that staff development is the key to creating an impact. Our mission statement highlights that we work with youth as well as children, and in many cases these youth are graduates of our programmes and are now working as our young delivery team. We operate a functional hierarchy based on experience and actively encourage transparency and open challenge across all levels of the organisation.

Magic Bus is driven by its founder and CEO, Matthew Spacie, its COO Alka Shesha and Boards in India and the UK. Since its inception and as part of its culture, Magic Bus has focused on creating a high calibre, result driven team. We have been able to attract high performance individuals from both the corporate and social sectors in order to create a balance of the required skills necessary to take the organisation forward.

Priyanka Sharma

Priyanka joined Magic Bus in 2003 having worked before in Delhi for Butterflies. She studied at Delhi University where she completed a Masters in Community Resource Management and Extension. 

Ajay Shetty

Ajay joined Magic Bus in 2003. He has extensive coaching experience and has played club level in football.  He has completed his C-grade coaching certificate from KNVB in The Netherlands and has been involved in train the train programmes in sport for development in Kenya and Vietnam.

Chirag Sakhare

Chirag has worked in the outdoors all his career and joined Magic Bus in 2000. He has extensive experience in mountaineering and trek leading. He is in charge of our entire Magic Bus outdoor programme.
