Final touches
to the phase one buildings
After a long delay during the monsoon,
construction started again in October. The buildings, that
were shells before the monsoon, have now had full plumbing
and electrical fittings installed and all the finishing touches
are being worked on. The buildings stood up well to the extreme
rains and floods with no leakage problems and only the nala
at the entrance to the site will have to be more reinforced
as a result.

Centre construction starts
In late November the first pit was dug
for the excavation of the resources centre that will form
the gatehouse of the Magic Bus centre. The building will house
a medical centre, library and resources room, audio-visual
learning, computers and a shaded activity area.
