Vision Re-Alignment (VRA)

Magic Bus took a self evaluatory and participatory step to relook at its vison, missions and goals. The entire team of Magic Bus were a part of this exercise to take ownership of the vision and feel motivated to work towards achieveing it.

Our vision realignment was conducted by the staff but at every difficult phase we found our very close friends supporting us in spirit. Fred, when we were debating on the definition of sport your definition glared back at us and everyone in unison was -"Right said Fred!!!". Dear Dr. Sonal your suggestions were ever so helpful in drawing our goals and staying on track. Dr Usha Parekh ur unrelenting support and belief in us kept so going through the gruelling process of the realignment. Atul your telephonic advice, 'mudde ki baat karo! Stick to the point!' helped us concentrate and focus on the road ahead. Vini your extraordinary belief in us that 'together you can do it!!' helped us overcome blocks...Deval agreeing to take this process forward was simply the best thing to happen....

Families of Magic Bus team - No words can be enough for the patience and support you'll showed, especially as our working time extended on weekdays and even weekends.

The entire staff of Magic Bus - The intense involvment of few of us during 3 months of VRA exercise created an additional workload on other members of the team , but like true heroes you'll held the bus together and did not allow our programmes to suffer.

Though 'thank you' seems to be a meager word compared to the rock solid belief & support you all showed in the journey of discovery towards our purpose....

Our Mission Statement:

Empowering Children and Youth with Positive Experiences to Discover and Develop through Sport

....we request you to accept our deepest gratitude for being there.

Update on Monitoring and Evaluation System

This quarter brought in a lot of clarity on the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System in Magic Bus. We are now in the process of adapting Prof. Fred Coalter's (UK Sport) M&E model at Magic Bus. The first phase of the model will be ready for implementation by mid June 2006.
