Participatory Photography
In 2007 an adventurous volunteer from the UK Rob 
Thomas persuaded his wife to spend their honeymoon
in Bombay working with Magic Bus! Rob, now a
professional photographer, as well as being a highly
experienced experiential learning expert, set out to
teach a group of 4 Magic Bus peer leaders how to
take photographs and then make a book to illustrate
the work of Magic Bus.
This project has inspired Magic Bus to carry on Rob’s
exciting work, mentoring children from our community
to document and illustrate their communities, their lives,
their experiences of Magic Bus and how they want to
influence change.
