The Kadoorie Charitable Foundation is based in Hong Kong with a long history of philanthropic work in many areas of development. They have generously donated funds for the construction of the Magic Bus Children's Centre.

It is supporting Magic Bus by contributing to the Explorer programme.

The foundation was set up by Laureus World Sports Academy, a gathering of world-class achievers in the world of international sport competition. The Sport for Good Foundation funds and promotes initiatives worldwide which use the power of sport to tackle pressing social issues Laureus Sport for Good Foundation recognises that sport is a universal language which can be used in the education of all and is funding a weekly Magic Bus sports programme for 800 children.

It seeks extraordinary individuals with unprecedented ideas for change in their communities and offers them support though stipends and professional services. Matthew Spacie, Founder, Magic Bus was awarded an Ashoka Fellowship in 2002.
