CAREER OPPORTUNITY AT MAGIC BUS

Magic Bus is a 9-year old not-for-profit organization in Mumbai working through the medium of sport and experiential learning to improve the personal and social skills of at risk children and youth. The organization is at an exciting stage in its growth and is exploring opportunities in partnership with UNICEF to scale its programme across India. The organization has won a number of global awards and is now in need of a carefully managed communication strategy to grow and protect the organization’s reputation as it expands in reach and in the diversity of its revenue generation streams. The organization is also registered in the UK for fundraising and awareness building purposes and has started raising funds in Dubai.

Magic Bus is looking for an Assistant Manager – Partnership who will be responsible for Volunteer Management and assisting Partnership Manager in all activities of the department keeping in focus the magic bus mission and vision.  We need someone with a minimum - 3 years of experience in Fund Raising and relationship management. The candidate should have excellent inter personal skills, should have experience in handling media, managing events, good written and verbal communication skill. Proficiency in computers, excel, word, power point. KEY RESULT AREAS

Resource Mobilization

  • Assist Partnership Manager in meeting financial and sustainability targets
  • Assist in managing the local fundraising
  • Assist in expanding Magic Bus database and voluntary contributions
  • To implement events strategies as part of the corporate partnership programme

Volunteer Management

  • To manage the Magic Bus volunteer programme (local and international)

Relationship Management

  • To assist the Partnerships manager in the implementation of the strategy and focus on compiling proposals, reports.
  • Creating and maintaining MOUs and contracts
  • To help plan stakeholder visits
  • Implementing initiatives to create visibility in conjunction with the communications team
  • To keep the communications team abreast of requirements for support
  • Build excellent working relationship with senior management and other departments in the organisation.

Finance / Administration

  • To assist Partnership Manager in preparing accurate budgets for the department
  • To assist in making accurate cash flow for the department

Self Development

  • To be responsible for one’s development with respect to knowledge, skills and behavior, in order to enrich and enhance both person and organization.

The Assistant Manager will report to Sr. Manager who will report head of department who in turn reports to the COO.


Tenure - Full time position.

Remuneration - Salary will be best in industry. Offers will commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
