Field Team and Mentors

Magic Bus has a fast growing team of Mentors and Youth Mentors. The Mentors Team brings to Magic Bus experience with background and qualifications in training, outdoor instruction, sports coaching and social work. Magic Bus also selects young adults from the communities wherein they work and graduates of our own programme to become Youth Mentors. Each Magic Bus group activity is led by a Mentor who is assisted by a ratio of one Mentor to every ten children.

Mathew, Alka, and Alison
Key to a Magic Bus Mentor's legacy is the ability to aid in developing excellent life skills and instilling in the child a sense of personal responsibility, respect for others, courage, preparedness, an ideal of always giving one's best effort and constantly improving skills. Our mentors act as a role model to every child on the programme.

The organisation is being promoted by its founder and chairman, Matthew Spacie, and boards in India and the UK. Since its inception and as part of its culture, Magic Bus has focused on creating a high calibre, result driven team. It has been able to attract high performance individuals from the both the corporate and the social sectors to create a balance of the required skills to take the organization forward. Although a small organization, we have a very progressive human resource, training and career planning strategy.
