Magic Bus believes that volunteerism is pivotal in bringing different communities together to make a lasting social impact. Volunteers are an integral part of the programme as they facilitate an interaction between two distinct sections of society to add value, promote positive life attitudes and to empower communities.

Volunteering is also part of our community ownership and delivery plans. Magic Bus therefore encourages volunteers not just from existing mainstream communities (corporate, schools, colleges etc.) but also from within the communities and institutions where we work, empowering children, youth and parents to volunteer their time and develop a civic sense and responsibility towards their environment and community. Volunteers also bring in new talent and skills and help in raising awareness about the organisation in a wider society.

Volunteer opportunities in the UK

Magic Bus UK is always keen to encourage volunteer support.

Event Volunteering: At our two annual events we require volunteers to help with the on the night management including selling raffle tickets, greeting guests, making goodie bags and helping with the auction and payment collection.

Volunteer Fundraisers: If you would like to run your own fundraising event for Magic Bus we can help with branded material and advice. Go to our fundraising page

 

Volunteering in India

There are a limited number of volunteer opportunities in India for skilled volunteers and we accept applications all year round. Magic Bus cannot offer accommodation but is happy to review applications.
